 “We proudly recognize the first majority-female Board of Commissioners in Cook County—a historic milestone that reflects the strength and progress of women in leadership. Congratulations to the Cook County Government on its 195-year anniversary and nearly two centuries of dedicated service to our communities.” 

 Today, we proudly recognize the historic achievement of the first majority-women Board of Commissioners in Cook County. This milestone reflects meaningful progress in representation, diversity, leadership, and the continued advancement of women in public service. The dedication, expertise, and vision these Commissioners bring to their roles will help shape a stronger, more inclusive future for the residents of Cook County. 

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Cook County Government on its remarkable 195-year anniversary. For nearly two centuries, Cook County has played a vital role in delivering essential services, fostering economic growth, and supporting vibrant communities across the region. 

As we celebrate this historic first and this significant anniversary, we honor the legacy of leadership that has brought Cook County to this moment and look forward with optimism to the progress still to come.
